سُورَةُ الإِنسَانِ

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ هَلْ أَتَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ حِينٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلدَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُن شَيْـًۭٔا مَّذْكُورًا 1
Has there come on man a while of time when he was a thing unremembered?
76:1
إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍۢ نَّبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ سَمِيعًۢا بَصِيرًا 2
We created man of a sperm-drop, a mingling, and We made him hearing, seeing.
76:2
إِنَّا هَدَيْنَٰهُ ٱلسَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرًۭا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا 3
Surely We guided him upon the way whether he be thankful or unthankful.
76:3
إِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ سَلَٰسِلَا۟ وَأَغْلَٰلًۭا وَسَعِيرًا 4
Surely We have prepared for the unbelievers chains, fetters, and a Blaze.
76:4
إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٍۢ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا 5
Surely the pious shall drink of a cup whose mixture is camphor,
76:5
عَيْنًۭا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ ٱللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِيرًۭا 6
a fountain whereat drink the servants of God, making it to gush forth plenteously.
76:6
يُوفُونَ بِٱلنَّذْرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوْمًۭا كَانَ شَرُّهُۥ مُسْتَطِيرًۭا 7
They fulfil their vows, and fear a day whose evil is upon the wing;
76:7
وَيُطْعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسْكِينًۭا وَيَتِيمًۭا وَأَسِيرًا 8
they give food, for the love of Him, to the needy, the orphan, the captive:
76:8
إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءًۭ وَلَا شُكُورًا 9
'We feed you only for the Face of God; we desire no recompense from you, no thankfulness;
76:9
إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا يَوْمًا عَبُوسًۭا قَمْطَرِيرًۭا 10
for we fear from our Lord a frowning day, inauspicious.
76:10
فَوَقَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ وَلَقَّىٰهُمْ نَضْرَةًۭ وَسُرُورًۭا 11
So God has guarded them from the evil of that day, and has procured them radiancy and gladness,
76:11
وَجَزَىٰهُم بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ جَنَّةًۭ وَحَرِيرًۭا 12
and recompensed them for their patience with a Garden, and silk;
76:12
مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيهَا شَمْسًۭا وَلَا زَمْهَرِيرًۭا 13
therein they shall recline upon couches, therein they shall see neither sun nor bitter cold;
76:13
وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلَٰلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِيلًۭا 14
near them shall be its shades, and its clusters hung meekly down,
76:14
وَيُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِـَٔانِيَةٍۢ مِّن فِضَّةٍۢ وَأَكْوَابٍۢ كَانَتْ قَوَارِيرَا۠ 15
and there shall be passed around them vessels of silver, and goblets of crystal,
76:15
قَوَارِيرَا۟ مِن فِضَّةٍۢ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقْدِيرًۭا 16
crystal of silver that they have measured -- very exactly.
76:16
وَيُسْقَوْنَ فِيهَا كَأْسًۭا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلًا 17
And therein they shall be given to drink a cup whose mixture is ginger,
76:17
عَيْنًۭا فِيهَا تُسَمَّىٰ سَلْسَبِيلًۭا 18
therein a fountain whose name is called Salsabil.
76:18
وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَٰنٌۭ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤًۭا مَّنثُورًۭا 19
Immortal youths shall go about them; when thou seest them, thou supposest them scattered pearls,
76:19
وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيْتَ نَعِيمًۭا وَمُلْكًۭا كَبِيرًا 20
when thou seest them then thou seest bliss and a great kingdom.
76:20
عَٰلِيَهُمْ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضْرٌۭ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٌۭ وَحُلُّوٓا۟ أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٍۢ وَسَقَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَابًۭا طَهُورًا 21
Upon them shall be green garments of silk and brocade; they are adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord shall give them to drink a pure draught.
76:21
إِنَّ هَٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمْ جَزَآءًۭ وَكَانَ سَعْيُكُم مَّشْكُورًا 22
Behold, this is a recompense for you, and your striving is thanked.'
76:22
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ تَنزِيلًۭا 23
Surely We have sent down the Koran on thee, a sending down;
76:23
فَٱصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعْ مِنْهُمْ ءَاثِمًا أَوْ كَفُورًۭا 24
so be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord, and obey not one of them, sinner or unbeliever.
76:24
وَٱذْكُرِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ بُكْرَةًۭ وَأَصِيلًۭا 25
And remember the Name of thy Lord at dawn and in the evening
76:25
وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَٱسْجُدْ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلًۭا طَوِيلًا 26
and part of the night; bow down before Him and magnify Him through the long night.
76:26
إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمْ يَوْمًۭا ثَقِيلًۭا 27
Surely these men love the hasty world, and leave be behind them a heavy day.
76:27
نَّحْنُ خَلَقْنَٰهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَآ أَسْرَهُمْ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَآ أَمْثَٰلَهُمْ تَبْدِيلًا 28
We created them, and We strengthened their joints; and, when We will, We shall exchange their likes.
76:28
إِنَّ هَٰذِهِۦ تَذْكِرَةٌۭ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًۭا 29
Surely this is a Reminder; so he who will, takes unto his Lord a way.
76:29
وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًۭا 30
But you will not unless God wills; surely God is ever All-knowing, All-wise.
76:30
يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَآءُ فِى رَحْمَتِهِۦ وَٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًۢا 31
For He admits into His mercy whomsoever He will; as for the evildoers, He has prepared for them a painful chastisement.
76:31
