بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلْعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبْحًۭا

By the snorting chargers,

فَٱلْمُورِيَٰتِ قَدْحًۭا

by the strikers of fire,

فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًۭا

by the dawn-raiders

فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًۭا

blazing a trail of dust,

فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا

cleaving there with a host!

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌۭ

Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord,

وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌۭ

and surely he is a witness against that!

وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ

Surely he is passionate in his love for good things.

۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ

Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown,

وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ

and that which is in the breasts is brought out --

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ

surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them!
